MY CITY
Hello!!!
My name is Milena, I’m 13 years old. I study seven grade of primary education.
I’m telling you about some import ant characteristic of my city. My city is
Żagań. Żagań is a charming, historic town located in the southern outskirts of
the Lubuskie Province, near the border with Germany, on the Bóbr River. Żagań
offers tourists a lot of monuments dotted in various parts of the city: the
Prince's Palace, the Kepler Monument, the Museum of POW Camps on the grounds of
the Stalag VIIIC POW camps and Stalag Luft III, where in 1944 the great escape
of 80 airmen, 50 of whom were later shot on the orders of Hitler. I invite you
to visit my city. You will like it!
